a picture is worth a thousand words.

So what if there are a few lines to go with the picture?
I happened upon some books I was gifted a few years ago. perhaps for my 15th birthday?
anyway. they are by Megan Hess, who is an illustrator and wow i love them!

The pages featured are from Lifes Little Delights.
The back cover reads as follows;

"Those exhilarating moments
such as finding the perfect pair
of shoes, hearing from an old
friend or discovering the ideal gift
for someone, are a few of the
pleasures in lifes that everyone
can identify with."

This book has me going! Ah i love when that happens, same for you perhaps?

isabel marant

The entire collection is so very wearable, a little unsure on the sequined pants? but they do look fab!
These are my favourite looks
The best part... i can shop my own wardrobe for them...perhaps not the polkadot pants.. although the do look amazing.

and with the leather pant trend continuing. i think this is my favourite way they've been done so far.
The red is something special.

just one wish..... what would it be?

To live in Paris

of course! i was there in september...only for a week.
Living in an apartment at the bottom of the steps to Sacre Cour.
Yes it was amazing! Didn't really do the touristy thing...
Well, went to the Louvre, and Versailles...
Did not scale Le Tour.....or go to Moulin Rouge.

We prefered to sit in cafes on Champs Elysees for hours.
and go for lunch by the fountains in Jardin Tuileries.
Now that is a Fashion Mecca.

Seeing blogs such as Thesartorialist. and the shots Scott Schuman takes here.
Well it really is like that. everyone is dressed fabulously!
(Bar the Bus Tour people with their visor hats and bumbags!)

wouldn't it be amazing to wake up everyday and dress to go walking in the (it is my opinion) most amazing city in the world?

The Wants..

WANTS
Something we all have..
the economic question even.
limited resource, unlimited wants... i did pay attention for that bit Miss because i could relate it to my wants of many things. fiscal policy however held me for about 3.25 seconds flat.
Me oh my! what a mistake schooling was.. well years 11 and 12 anyway! i would have been better to have sat at home reading vogue and novels than going to class.
ENOUGH of school it was a waste of my precious time.
things i want........ no NEED. ( It needed caps) (lots of things need caps)
1. Louboutin Pigalles. (of course) which fashionista's wardrobe is complete without a pair? i almost obtained these glorious creations in Paris while holidaying with my boyfriend. but alas. he said NO! needless to say the answer was no to alot of things he wanted for sometime after!
2. NEW chanel 2,55! in beige or white this time please. I was young, and dumb last time. I'm sorry Coco. i didn't mean to wreck the last one...
3. A Chinchila? fur collar. I do love fur. quite a bit.
hm, to be honest i think thats it... maybe a dinner date with Anna?

I LOVE chloe and beige and arghhhh

I do use the word Love quite a bit..
I'm sure it annoys my boyfriend because i tell people i love them when they pick something up for me. but this! THIS I LOVE!
not as much as you bentley darling.
but i do.
it is my Fall 2010 moment.
the pussy bow neck, the waist detailing of the trousers, the trousers! have you ever seen a more perfect contrast to the cropped tappered leg or the ghastly trend of harem! (sorry but i never got into that)

Hannah MacGibbon THANKYOU!

I do suppose....

That this is the beginning of a beautiful love affair...
because I do love writing... in fact i plan on creating a career of it.
and I do love fashion and photography, much like most people who shall read this I guess.

I guess you all like to think you're "individual" as well
I would never allude to thinking that.
and don't get me started if you think yourself that.

p.s. i can be quite offensive and stubbornly opinionated.
